Modelled on the best practices of Harrow School, London, all pupils at Harrow Hong Kong, from Nursery to Year 13, belong to a House. Each House has its own distinctive name, a House colour and a House flag (as well as a House Mistress or Master in the Upper School).
In the Lower School, our Houses are named after animals from the Chinese Zodiac story:
- Dragon
- Monkey
- Snake
- Tiger
- Ox
- Horse
Within Early Years, the House system provides pupils the opportunity to interact and collaborate with children and adults from outside of their usual classroom team.
Participation in House events, such as Sports Day, supports pupils to develop a sense of pride in their community as well as a little competitive spirit!
