This was the culmination of one year and a half learning through a new teaching and learning methodology: the accelerative, integrated methodology. This methodology involves the use of high-frequency vocabulary, introduced with gestures and contextualised in stories, drama, songs and dance. This enables students to achieve fluency and written proficiency faster and more efficiently than with conventional methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All were impressed with the confidence with which students performed, their outstanding accents and their enthusiasm whilst on stage.<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"38\" height=\"28\" src=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/PYB0FQpoSgE\">&nbsp;Year 5 AIM Performances<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 20 June, Year 5 students performed three plays in Spanish and French to an audience of parents, teachers and students.
