We were thrilled to welcome over 350 adults and 360 children. The popularity of the event far exceeded our expectations and unfortunately we quickly sold out of candles, but we will be sure to order more for next year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our Music teachers worked very hard in the weeks leading up to Christmas helping each students in each Year to learn a special Christmas song and then all the children sang some traditional favourites with their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was a fabulous and memorable evening with a wonderful Christmas atmosphere.&nbsp; Thank you to all the teachers, support staff and the class parents who gave their time to make this event such a success, and many thanks to all the Harrow Hong Kong families for joining us too. This is now going to be a firm fixture on Harrow Hong Kong&#8217;s Christmas calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Videos of the Carols songs can be watched at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLE1ix79Rb3By0hEahO0hBojy_YqW66KTd\">the School&#8217;s Youtube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Christmas began in the Early Years Centre a little early this year, as rehearsals for Born in a Barn got underway at the beginning of November. Throughout the school you could hear children and teachers singing the familiar chorus to the song and it started to get everyone into the Christmas spirit. We were all very excited when in the final week of term, we were allowed into the EYC, where the shared area had been transformed into a stable! There was a good deal of commotion, but plenty of excitement in that Bethlehem stable, when the animals from K1 and K2 realised that there was a baby in their barn! The production was fun from start to finish and the children spoke and sung their lines with so much enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see the children with such confidence in front of their friends and families and we were very proud of all of them for their hard work and for creating such a lovely start to the Lower School\u2019s Christmas festivities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday 8 December, the Pre-Prep School hosted their inaugural Carols by Candlelight event.
