Parents are expected to pay all fees. These fees cover the regular examination programme for each pupil\u2019s particular course of study throughout these years. Pupils undertaking re-sits of particular examinations in order to improve their grades will be charged extra fees comprising actual costs from the external examiners and administration charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pupils taking PET\/KET\/FCE tests of English proficiency will be charged as and when they sit the exams.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-essential-blocks-accordion-item eb-accordion-item-aof4g eb-accordion-wrapper\" data-clickable=\"false\"><div class=\"eb-accordion-title-wrapper eb-accordion-title-wrapper-eb-accordion-0x2z7\" tabindex=\"0\"><span class=\"eb-accordion-icon-wrapper eb-accordion-icon-wrapper-eb-accordion-0x2z7\"><span class=\"dashicon dashicons dashicons-plus-alt2 eb-accordion-icon\"><\/span><\/span><div class=\"eb-accordion-title-content-wrap title-content-eb-accordion-0x2z7\"><h3 class=\"eb-accordion-title\">Expeditions<\/h3><\/div><\/div><div class=\"eb-accordion-content-wrapper eb-accordion-content-wrapper-eb-accordion-0x2z7\"><div class=\"eb-accordion-content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All year groups from Year 3 upwards have a residential trip each year. In addition, there will be opportunities for other expeditions, cultural visits, sporting trips and outdoor pursuits throughout the year. No deduction of fees or make-up lessons will be arranged for either any absence from lessons or lesson cancellation caused by severe weather. If you wish to terminate your child\u2019s lessons at the end of a particular half-term period, written notice must be given to the Music Administrator at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:music.enquiries@harrowhongkong.hk\">music.enquiries@<a href=\"http:\/\/harrowhongkong.hk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">harrowhongkong.hk<\/a><\/a>, with a copy to the Director of Music at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:twiggall@harrowhongkong.hk\">twiggall@<a href=\"http:\/\/harrowhongkong.hk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">harrowhongkong.hk<\/a><\/a>, by the end of the second week back at school after the most recent holiday or half term break. Please note that a pupil\u2019s enrolment in lessons will be continued each term and each year until written notice to terminate lessons is received.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-essential-blocks-accordion-item eb-accordion-item-gdonl eb-accordion-wrapper\" data-clickable=\"false\"><div class=\"eb-accordion-title-wrapper eb-accordion-title-wrapper-eb-accordion-0x2z7\" tabindex=\"0\"><span class=\"eb-accordion-icon-wrapper eb-accordion-icon-wrapper-eb-accordion-0x2z7\"><span class=\"dashicon dashicons dashicons-plus-alt2 eb-accordion-icon\"><\/span><\/span><div class=\"eb-accordion-title-content-wrap title-content-eb-accordion-0x2z7\"><h3 class=\"eb-accordion-title\">Other Expeditions and Trips During School Holidays<\/h3><\/div><\/div><div class=\"eb-accordion-content-wrapper eb-accordion-content-wrapper-eb-accordion-0x2z7\"><div class=\"eb-accordion-content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A list of trips and their costs are issued to parents annually. Deposits are collected to secure a pupil\u2019s place on the trips followed by the full amount. If a final payment is not made by the due date the pupil may lose their place on the trip. If pupils drop out of a trip money will not be refunded unless another pupil is able to take their place on the trip. If a trip is cancelled, the School will work to secure a refund from the airlines\/tour operators\/insurance company, but parents are liable for any loss occurred due to the cancellation.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading gold mt-24\">PUPIL WITHDRAWAL<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To ensure that the School has sufficient notice with which to plan fee levels, other resources and the curriculum, one term\u2019s notice must be given in writing. Otherwise, one term\u2019s fees in lieu will be due and payable as a debt at the rate applicable on the date of invoice whether or not the place can be filled.&nbsp;If your child is withdrawing from Harrow, please write to your child\u2019s House Master\/Mistress, Ms. McColl and the Admissions department.
